My mother made wonderful bed sized (as in king size) blankets and they have a bit of wobble. It just reminds me they were hand and not machine made. I know ...OH!!! the dreaded...should I continue.... I know for me, if I question something...it is always on my mind and I am never happy with the end result. Then I have to give it away cuz I don't even want to see it ever again. Unless....it is totally fixable with the blocking. I say block now to see if it will straighten out and you are happy with it . That's a pretty big dip. Too much time and pretty yarn to not be "over the top" with the end results. Thanks for sharing...I thought these things only happen to me!!!
AddieAddiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12964756225996505779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8089227595191821356.post-28497543285455129602015-04-10T13:10:32.209-04:002015-04-10T13:10:32.209-04:00Blocking makes everything look better. I would block it first anyhow and then you can decide if you want to add a border or not.Daryl @ Patchouli Moon Studiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06187456682218408410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8089227595191821356.post-81459139578891589312015-04-10T03:42:36.804-04:002015-04-10T03:42:36.804-04:00Hm, I guess this is the exact reason I'm not f...Hm, I guess this is the exact reason I'm not fond of mixed stitch blankets. My life is chaotic enough ;-)
If you're not sure, wait until you continue. It would be a terrible waste of pretty yarn.
