Lookee What I Won!

I was cleaning up some of my photo files on my computer, and realized I forgot to show you the goodies I won in a giveaway. Garden Peas and Fleas held a giveaway to celebrate the positive relationships that the internet can yield, whether through blogging, gaming, or whatever. And no-luck me actually won one of her gifts! This package arrived on a gloomy day and brought a little cheer to it:

I loved how it wasn't all "Here's your stuff" but was so thoughtfully packaged--I hated to unwrap these, the paper was so pretty.

 A lovely note, some scented candles, a tin of beads and buttons, red polka dot fabric (my all-time favorite) and a crocheted brooch.

I love those Yankee candle tarts--they are so much more...scentful?...than regular candles. And I have a bit of a crush on England right now--never have been there but seriously want to go--so I'm loving that card as well. And the brooch--the stitching is so lovely. When I try things like that they're full of lumpy-bumpies and look like anything but what they're supposed to. 

So thank you, Em! I love it! And your crochet skills make me envious. Seriously. The picture doesn't do it justice.
